When we arrived at this Camberwell property, their “network cupboard” was doing its best — but it was overloaded with old hardware, tangled cabling and gear that simply wasn’t up to modern standards. With the family upgrading to NBN Fibre-to-the-Premises (FTTP) and relying heavily on Wi-Fi for work, streaming and smart home devices, it was time for a full technology refresh.

What started as a messy data cabinet turned into a streamlined, high-performance setup built for stability, speed and future-proofing.

✨ Step 1: Cabinet Clean-Up & Structured Cabling

The existing cabinet was a classic case of “it worked once upon a time.” Mixed patch leads, redundant equipment and outdated cabling were causing:

• performed load tests and speed verification
