New 18-pole enclosure + 10× RCBOs = safer isolation, fewer blackouts and room for future upgrades.

We replaced an ageing board with a modern 18-pole enclosure and 10× RCBOs to bring the installation up to current safety expectations and provide capacity for future loads.

What We Upgraded

  • Installed a new 18-pole enclosure with clear circuit labelling and spare ways.

  • Fitted 10 RCBOs (RCD + MCB) for individual circuit protection.

  • Verified earthing/MEN, identified circuits and completed test & commissioning to AS/NZS 3000.

  • Issued a Certificate of Electrical Safety (COES) on completion.

Why RCBOs Matter

RCBOs combine shock protection (RCD) and over-current protection (MCB) in one device. If a fault occurs, only the affected circuit trips — not the whole house. That means better safety, faster fault-finding and fewer “all-lights-out” moments.
