85-Inch TV Wall Mounting, Concealed Cabling & Denon AV Upgrade
Creating a clean, modern and functional home entertainment space requires more than simply mounting a TV on the wall. At Cable & Connect, we recently completed a full home theatre and AV upgrade in Greensborough, transforming an older entertainment area into a sleek and easy-to-use setup for the client and their family.
85-Inch TV Wall Mount Installation
The centrepiece of this project was the installation of a customer-supplied 85-inch television using a premium flat wall bracket. The larger screen created a much more immersive viewing experience while maintaining a streamlined appearance within the room.
To achieve a clean finish, all cabling was concealed inside the wall cavity, eliminating visible cords and helping the entertainment area look significantly tidier and more modern.
The team also connected the new television to the client’s existing AV equipment and provided a walkthrough of the system once installation and testing were complete.
Entertainment Unit & AV Equipment Upgrade
As part of the upgrade, the existing cabinetry surrounding the old screen was carefully removed to make way for a more practical and contemporary entertainment layout.
A new customer-supplied cabinet was installed to house the AV equipment, including a newly supplied Denon AVR-X2800 amplifier. This receiver was integrated with the client’s existing front and centre speakers to improve overall sound quality and home theatre performance.
The result was a much cleaner setup with improved functionality and a better viewing and listening experience overall.
Additional Power & Device Integration
To support the new wall mounted TV, Cable & Connect installed a new double powerpoint behind the television, ensuring the installation remained neat, compliant and manufacturer-approved.
The project also included installation and configuration of a secondary 55-inch television positioned on the entertainment cabinet. Existing devices including Apple TV, Fetch and DVD equipment were connected, tested and commissioned to ensure everything worked seamlessly together.
