For this project in St Andrews, VIC, Cable & Connect was engaged to transform a standalone pavilion into a fully integrated entertainment and connectivity hub, delivering seamless audio, TV access, and reliable internet across the property.
Smart Audio for Indoor & Outdoor Living
A key part of this installation was creating a multi-zone audio system that could service both the internal TV area and the outdoor decking space.
We installed:
2 x Sonos amplifiers
Configured to run two independent speaker zones
This allows the client to:

Centralised AV & Network Rack Installation
To keep everything clean, organised, and future-proof, we installed a dedicated communications rack within the pavilion.

Everything is connected through the rack, meaning fewer visible cables and a much cleaner finish.
Antenna Installation for Reliable TV Signal
A new roof-mounted antenna was installed and integrated into the system, ensuring:
Strong and reliable signal
Consistent TV performance
Proper distribution through the AV setup
Especially important in semi-rural areas like St Andrews, where signal quality can vary.
Point-to-Point Wi-Fi Link (House to Pavilion)
One of the biggest challenges with detached buildings is internet access.
Instead of trenching new cabling across the property, we installed a wireless point-to-point connection, linking the pavilion back to the main house network.
