Recently, our team completed a projector upgrade in Viewbank, replacing an ageing projector with a new Epson EH-TW6250 Full HD projector while modernising and simplifying the entire AV system.
The existing projector lift and mounting arrangement were retained, however new mounting hardware was installed and carefully adjusted to ensure the projector was perfectly aligned with the projection screen.
As part of the upgrade, we also reorganised the client's AV cupboard by removing obsolete equipment, tidying cabling and simplifying the audio connections. Existing RCA cabling was retained where practical, with new wall plates, blank plates and interconnects installed to create a much cleaner and easier-to-maintain system.
Once installation was complete, we thoroughly commissioned and tested the entire upstairs theatre system, confirming stable video performance, reliable audio and correct operation across all equipment.
To finish the project, we installed a custom cover panel to the downstairs motorised projector lift assembly with additional timber backing to provide a stronger mounting surface and a much neater appearance.
