At Cable & Connect, we recently completed a home security and communications upgrade for a homeowner in Montmorency, helping improve both the property's security and the organisation of its technology infrastructure.

Upgrading Security and Surveillance

We installed two additional security cameras to improve coverage around the property and investigated the existing network video recorder (NVR). Where possible, we always look to maximise the performance of existing equipment before recommending replacement. In this case, provisions were made to install a new NVR if required to ensure reliable recording and remote access functionality.
The result was a more capable surveillance system designed to provide greater visibility and peace of mind for the homeowner.
Bosch Alarm System Enhancements
The project also included upgrades to the home's Bosch alarm system, expanding the property's security coverage and improving user accessibility.
The alarm upgrades included:
• 2 additional PIR motion sensors
• 3 wireless reed switches for doors and windows
• Roller door monitoring integration
• Additional alarm keypad installation
These additions help provide more comprehensive protection while making the system easier to operate throughout the home.
