Emergency Lighting Replacement at Box Hill Medical Centre
Emergency and Exit Lighting Upgrade in Box Hill
Early-Morning Electrical Works to Minimise Disruption
Electrical maintenance in an operating medical facility needs to be planned around the people using the building.
Cable & Connect recently attended a medical centre in Box Hill to replace failed emergency and exit lighting identified during a fire services inspection.
To minimise disruption to staff, patients and visitors, our team completed the works during an early-morning attendance.
Eight existing failed emergency battens within the ground-level car park were removed and replaced with new 1200mm weatherproof emergency LED batten fittings. Existing wiring was retained where suitable, with minor modifications completed to accommodate the replacement fittings and existing mounting locations.
An additional failed LED exit light at the Level 1 east stairwell was also removed and replaced.
Following installation, the new fittings were tested and commissioned to confirm correct operation and battery backup functionality.
For strata managers, owners corporations, facility managers and commercial property operators, Cable & Connect provides scheduled electrical maintenance and rectification works throughout Melbourne, including emergency lighting, common-area lighting, switchboards and electrical fault finding.
